O2 Treehouse Masters — Seattle
As seen on TV! Episode “View from Above” season 3 of the hit TV show Treehouse Masters, Pete Nelson is tasked with a challenge to complete a treehouse for a very cool family but can’t fit the bill with his team out on holiday. With a sudden stroke of genius Pete thinks to call his good buddy at O2 Treehouse to see if his team can take on the task.
O2 Treehouse rushes out and takes on the challenge of installing the Tamarack model treehouse, an open deck style geodesic sphere treehouse built of cedar and steel patina panels.
One of the first challenges noted by designer and owner, Dustin Feider, was the trees on the property were not large enough or strong enough to support a treehouse. The solution was to suspend the structure between the trees, but in order to keep the treehouse from encroaching on the neighbors lot line a third support had to be installed. O2’s solution was to install a 40’ cedar pole, but not before a custom totem pattern was carved into the trunk by a guest chain saw artist to give the pole some character. Will the O2 team get the treehouse installed before the 3-day installation deadline is reached??? dun dun duuuun…
Spoiler alert – of course they did!
