Lotus
Designer and builder Dustin Feider’s inspiration for these aesthetic beauties was ‘ship wreck meets lotus flower.’ Each structure was pre-fabricated onsite and then installed around the live oak tree utilizing a circular tube that supports cables tied to the tree’s branches. Each vertical slat is a custom length and each facet tilts at a different angle, but all come together with custom precision. A ship-like two seat wooden cable car creates quick transportation between the two hillside structures, which can also be entered by wooden steps.
