Ginger House

The client reached out to O2 Treehouse interested in adding the quintessential childhood play feature, a treehouse, to compliment what can only be described as a young child’s dream backyard/fun zone which includes a water slide, sunken trampoline, playground, basketball court, and water balloon launcher. And now of course a custom designed treehouse. 

The Ginger House stands in a giant Stone Pine Tree soaring above the city of Los Angeles. This treehouse easily has the best city view of all of the O2 treehouses built in the Los Angeles area. The Ginger treehouse get its name simply by the appearance – it looks like a gingerbread house. Per the clients vision O2 designed a rustic treehouse with clean modern lines. The roof was created from recycled pallets consisting of a variety of species of wood giving it a speckled gingery house appearance.
